If I could rate this 11/10, I would. One of my favorite comics I have ever read. I laughed out loud no less than 5 times. It has action, it has heartbreak, it has comedy...every catlover (at the very least) owes it to themselves to read this one.

Cinnamon #1

By: Victoria Douglas
Released: Aug 4, 2021

Cinnamon is just your perfectly ordinary, average housecat. At least until we get a glimpse of the world through her eyes! Countertops become skyscrapers, cat toys become biker gangs, and perilous giant robots rampage on the daily! Get drop kicked onto the action packed streets of Big Kitchen City, as she fights the dark forces that dare to keep he...

The artstyle is extremely evocative and gruesome. But rather than making me cringe, it nearly brought me to tears thinking of the hopelessness of the characters caught in this setting. The story is phenomenal, and there's so little revealed about the source of their powers that it's easy to suspect that it isn't a traditional good vs evil fight...

This is looking to be one of my favorite Sci-Fi settings since Saga. A world gone dark with even more concerning results for the nature of the inhabitants there. It's a sweet mix of horror and sci-fi and the main character is in the perfect role to introduce us to the setting. I can't wait to read more.

This was the first Nightwing I have ever read, and I immediately added it to my pull list.

The art is top notch, you see a lot about Grayson's character, my favorite Bat/Oracle, Barbara Gordon makes an appearance, and he saves a dog. What more could you want?

The art was fantastic, but not much happened in this one. I'm excited to find out more about the Unsanity Collective but there wasn't much progress on that front in this issue. Harley's writing was so-so. I feel like she's being written a lot dumber than she is.
