I think Jock's inexperience as a writer shone through a little here. Every page with Croc was a treat to look at and there were lots of cool homages to Miller's work on DKR, but the plot was a bit thin and wrapped up rather conveniently. And while the story was lacking a touch of originality, it's hard to argue with Jock's interpretation of the character. His Batman is smart, driven, compassionate and damn can he take a beating and keep going. more
