    I Review Comics Mar 27, 2019

Unnatural #7 was a decent issue but it was the first issue in the series that felt like filler. This issue is a return to form and closes out the second arc in the 12 issue mini-series giving us resolutions to some keep plot points as well as raising new questions to be sorted out.

I trust Mirka Andolfo. Leslie and Khal are probably the most unconventional comic book characters you'll ever run across but they are all interesting and even when the story seems to be running out of steam a new element is introduced that will keep you engaged.

Leslie and Khal form a deeper connection in the issue. We also get some insight into just how powerful Leslie can be when she merges with "The Albino" The comic also ends with a massive reveal is given regarding "The Glance" character. My jaw dropped a few times this issue as the Oh Shit moments kept coming.

Issue #7 felt as if Mirka may have been rushed or unfocused but this issue is back on track. There is very little to complain about. The art direction is simply gorgeous and the comic works as a single issue or part of a hole. I can't imagine anyone picking this book up randomly and not being invested in knowing what happens next.

Unnatural continues to be one of the best comics on the shelves. In a sea of mediocre books, it stands head and shoulders above many of the comics being produced by the big 2 right now. You owe it to yourself to check it out.
