It's difficult to find something that feels fresh in the ever-expanding comic market. Klik Klik Boom definitely is fresh. And funny. And fun to look at.

I'm an OG Alpha Flight phan. This issue really had that old school Alpha Flight story feel to it. Loved the end.

The art is gorgeous and engaging. The story has unlimited potential. The characters are already vibrant and with depth as well as obvious flaws and problems. This is the start of a great series of mini-series.(ongoing? What's that?)

Read this issue. Don't make me twist your arm.

The Ashen Combine are the slickest new group of villains going in Marvel today. I love Idol Alabaster and Citysmith but my favorite is Lord Ennui, who can barely be bothered to do his city-conquering. The Impossible City is interesting, but it's obvious where that is going. Love the art too.

A very solid issue. Didn't see the end coming.

At least the cover didn't have: "THAT pose" You know which one I mean.

Are all 'new' comic runs that aren't mini's destined to just flame out. Yes. The best you can hope for as a fan of a new successful book is that you get a mini series once every year or two. The whole industry just seems to be developing bad habits that are alienating the consumer.
