I have given this title a chance. I really wanted it to be great. The artwork has NOT disappointed; that's definitely not the problem, that's why it still at least gets a "6" from me. With the New 52 reset, all of the heroes are fresh, young, and new, so we really didn't need that in the Earth 2 comics. I miss the older versions of the Flash, and Green Lantern. Maybe you don't want them to look like senior citizens anymore, OK I get that, but with everyone else being so young now, how about we shoot for a 50's age range. I also don't like the elemental, spirit of the Earth thing they got going on with Lantern and Grundy. It's too Captain Planet for me. I don't like any of the newer characters they have introduced. Especially Lois. Even all the forces of Darkseid have not been able to save this comic series for me. I think they need to make drastic changes to this comic or start fresh with an Earth 3 or something.

Want something different from the superhero crowd? This may be the book for you. The closest comparison after reading issue #1 would be Blade Runner. The story is alright but there are a lot of blanks that still need to be filled in. I'm curious to see where this goes. The artwork though is FRICK'N BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm not exaggerating here. The artwork is a joy just to look at. Not just detailed, clean, and well colored, this is artwork that anybody can appreciate, comics fan or no. Definitely check this one out guys!
