One of the few books I think is worth the $5 price tag.

I only read this because the cover really caught my attention and I'm glad I did. This is the first issue of Catwoman I've read since the whole wedding debacle so I wasn't caught up on the current plot. The fact I really didn't need to be in order to enjoy this book is one of the things I was highly impressed with. I've also read several Gronbekk books and was not wowed by her writing, so the fact I thoroughly enjoyed this story was a shock. The interior art is pretty mid but that won't stop you from reveling in the adventure the book offers. Great stuff man!

The premise is a little tired but this title could still have legs, we just don't see much more than the basic set up in this first issue so there's no telling. The art style of Jae Lee lends itself more to dark and bleak coloring and here that's not the case. It was a bit jarring at first but after a second read it felt more normal. Am I the only one who felt like that at first?
