Jun 24, 2026It seems pretty clear that this is, like his Batman run, a run that takes place heavily in its own future where he can set stakes that are even higher than we normally see in the DCU. Read Full Review

AIPT - George Loftus
Jun 24, 2026Wonder Woman #34 sees what’s presumably the final battle of the Wonder War and it’s a doozy. It’s beautifully brought to life by two artists whose styles clash a little bit when put together but there isn’t a single page that isn’t fun to look at. Tom King poses interesting questions but ultimately sets up a confusing ending that intrigues me as much as it frustrates me. Read Full Review

This series has been hit or miss but this was definitely a hit. Although the ending does have me worried on whether or not King will be able to successfully land this.

i can't believe I'm saying this, but this was the best issue of the series for me. It took almost 35 issues, but here we are.

The art is amazing but King seems to write as bad as Bendis just with many fewer words. Poppycock, as Mr. King says. Time for a new creative here.

Like most Tom King books, the more that gets explained, the more you realize he has no idea how to write these characters

What Tom King has done here is ruin a character. He kills Stewart. Violates and recreates rules and lore to fit his storyline that’s a mess. If he followed a flow or established rules. It would fall apart. Tom also skips around to the parts he wants to tell. Damned be a seamless story. Screw this book. This artist is wasted. Tom is dangerous to comics because someone may one day like this and replicate it. If you like WW. don’t buy this. If you like comics. Don’t buy this.
