The usual Marvel "here's 30 pages to get acquainted with the new status quo" book, but this one really felt natural. Taking us through the roller coaster of the last few years of X-Men books and giving us an idea of what to expect in the future, the book feels fairly smooth. I'll go into pros and cons: Pros - good dialogue, obvious understanding of the characters - the Weapon X fragment, though being slightly forced, was probably one of the things that got me most excited from the book - nice art Cons - The Blue part. That part was VERY forced, shoving the All-New X-Men history into a page of monologues that the characters would have no reason to be saying because they lived it... they know the information. Overall I think the books does its job and does it well, but doesn't go very far above. I'm sure that the book gives no information that you wouldn't be able to get from just reading the spinoff books so it's really up to you on whether or not you want to give it a try.
