Terrible issue with no forward progress and art some may find enjoyable but hurts the hell out of my eyes personally. King continues to keep the Batman book at a very below average clip.

Anybody want a 73 issue Batman run plus Annuals ? Very very cheap. I don't want it stinking up my long box anymore .

Love this book. Maybe I think its sooo good because I miss old Batman at this point but regardless this would still be a top Batman title regardless. The story starts with a well drawn fight and the pace quickly picks up steam. A quick trip to Berlin and a meet up with Joker to solve a mystery Im sold and want more now. Art is top notch, writing is gripping, buy this comic!

The 0 issue along with 1 have me very intrigued about Telos and these worlds about to battle each other. The art is fantastic and easy to follow. My only complaint about the last two issues is the 5 dollar price tag with the page count provided. This is my first DC event title Ive really gotten into so Im not sure if this feels like more of the same for long time fans and readers. I also mostly read Batman and Superman related titles and had reservations about this event but so far am really enjoying this. Not reading all the side stories just really the ones that interest me the most but Ill follow this main title all the way through Im sold enough.

This is why people now pirate comic books . Your charged $4.99 for a lazy rip off of a DC character with three actual pages of story which is an after thought at the end of the issue.

X-Men as a whole, despite this relaunch, remains largely inexcessible, and with Hickman now at the helm , and two issues in, to me it seems to remain no different. X fans will eat up the new direction however it's still very much the same flavor . Future timelines and butt hurt humans vs XMen ? I thought this was a relaunch .

Overall was not a fan of this series at all. Kind of thought it would pickup where Spiderverse left off or at least reference to it. The art maybe my least favorite in a mainstream comic Ive come across. Overall look elsewhere for Secret Wars Spider related tie ins.

This entire series thus far has felt like an over the top soap opera using a mad libs script. Nothing is resolved that was setup and it made even less sense getting there. I don't understand the reviews for this series , people starved for a Jessica comic maybe ?
