One of the best superhero titles out right now. Mark Bagley is one of the greatest Spider-Man artists of all time and him joining an already amazing title is a dream come true. This was both a solid epilogue to Absolute Carnage and a great start to a new arc.

I don’t read Transformers, so Ramondelli is a discovery for me. This was an intriguing first chapter of a story about four robots convicted of various crimes and sentenced to be linked so if one dies they all die. Four very well defined characters start out this journey and I’m happy to say this story shows a lot of potential.

A decent, if predictable, send off to an incredible world. What Hickman lacks in character development and scene setting, he more than makes up for in world building, lore, and imagination.

This was whelming. I was whelmed. It was neither good nor bad. It is the crowning achievement of a completely average superhero comic book.

I’m going to have to stop buying Frank Tieri comics. Until he realizes that motivation vomit isn’t the same as good dialogue he’ll remain borderline unreadable. The scene with Kingpin, John, and Misty was painful to read. In addition to the creative writing class level script, the story made little to no sense as part of the larger story that Donny Cates is telling. If Knull has been imprisoned for untold millennium, then why is his image in a cave in the early days of NYC? Absolutely none of this made any sense and I don’t trust Tieri to make sense of it. I doubt he even thought it through past the “wouldn’t it be cool if” stage

A series of short stories loosely connected with a murder mystery framing device which itself only exists to pimp Empyre. The other stories all exist solely to hype upcoming storylines of various current and upcoming titles. This would have been great as a free comic giveaway, but to charge $10 for a glorified preview comic is shady even by Big Two standards. Nothing of consequence here. Save your money

A stream of unfunny, unoriginal puns telling an uninteresting story about how much of an unliked jerk our titular character is. If you think this is funny, just ask your dad to tell you jokes, it’s cheaper than adding this to your pull list and the jokes will probably be funnier. Unless Zeb Wells is your dad, in which case ask a friends dad.
