Hailstone (2021) #1 |

Full Video Review and Christians Worldview Analysis - www.pagesoflight.com/blog/2021/5/21/comixology-originals-hailstone-1-christian-worldview-review Hailstone #1 is a great first issue to a series! The characters were interesting and engaging, I enjoyed the dynamic and tension between Sheriff Denton and Captain Spencer so I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes. Additionally, the mystery behind who is stealing the girls is intriguing especially with the possibility of the army being behind it or covering it up. Could it be some new experimental technology or something related to enhanced humans or beasts to help with the war effort in the south? All intriguing questions and I'm excited to be on this short five-part miniseries. The art was equally well done with a lot of detail in the faces and landscapes while also having great use of colors to portray danger with the reds. The art gave me a Sean Phillips vibe if you are familiar with his work with Ed Brubaker on Criminal. This was a great first issue and I plan to read the whole five-part series! |

Tartarus has an interesting premise and could be something special but it is bogged down by boring characters and a mediocre plot in this first issue. Full Review - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JShlY6L6hCY |

This is basically just a Trump Administration hit piece where all the white Border Patrol Agents are evil and just hate all the people coming to America. They make it seem like everyone coming to the US border is seeking asylum and are mistreated when they get here. This couldn't be further from the truth. |
