"HARD TRAVELING HERO" part two! Oliver Queen is a pillar of morality. A champion of ethics. The essence of truth. Or at least he thought so. The self-described people's hero Green Arrow crosses paths with the Justice League's real paragon of virtue, Wonder Woman, when his cross-country fight against the Ninth Circle puts both heroes' muscle and mettle to the ultimate test.

You Don't Read Comics - Gage Bullock Jul 23, 2017

My favorite thing about this issue is how Oliver and Dinah play off each other so well, I really wouldn't mind more issues of them working together. We are also getting a more political liberal loudmouth Green Arrow that I grew to love before the N52. Oliver really got the shaft in the N52 especially when it came to the league, and I love that this arc seems to be making up for that. Read Full Review

GREEN ARROW #27 is a fantastic example of everything that DC Rebirth has done right. Benjamin Percy writes a riveting, political story involving the Emerald Archer. Jamal Campbell jumps on board with stunning artwork. Any Arrow-nut would be remiss to not check out GREEN ARROW #27! Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Sean Blumenshine Jul 20, 2017

This is a solid issue. Green Arrow and Wonder Woman make a pretty fun team with some good banter and cool action. The art is gorgeous; Campbell blew me away with a lot of his work in this one. It's a fun read and I recommend checking it out. Read Full Review

Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles Jul 19, 2017

The Ninth Circle continues to be a worthy adversary for Green Arrow and their assaults in D.C. play out like a superhero version of House of Cards. Their trail takes Green Arrow to a somewhat obvious next destination, but it should be fun to see how this super interaction goes. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - Hussein Wasiti Jul 19, 2017

In a very politically-charged and gorgeous issue, Benjamin Percy and Jamal Campbell join forces and team Green Arrow up with Wonder Woman. Their banter and relationship is a lot better established and genuine than Oliver's relationship with the Flash in the last issue, and the art was pretty gorgeous. Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - Devon Browning Jul 24, 2017

Percy continues to deliver a compelling story that challenges Green Arrow and company as well as the reader with Campbell's delightfully witty art that easily tells the story itself. A great read, and a better run to add to your subscriptions. Read Full Review

I actually liked the art in this issue, it was very clean and did well in telling the story in itself. It just took me an issue to get used to the style change. There was a lot going on in this issue, but Percy did a great job of making it cohesive. I've always been a big fan of how he's able to parallel our reality, and this issue is no exception. The ending has me super pumped, because I've been waiting for the fall of a certain character for awhile now, and Percy may finally give it to me. Read Full Review

Comic Book Corps - Eric Butler Jul 19, 2017

This is a great return to form for the Emerald Archer. Bringing back his hardcore liberal attitude, his hatred of the rich, and of course his Pretty Bird. Any fan of the darker 90's run and the More recent Kevin Smith run of Green Arrow can jump right in and enjoy. Read Full Review

I highly recommend this comic. This is easily one of the best Green Arrow issues of Rebirth. It's got action, it's got heart, and it's got Green Arrow being a loudmouth liberal. What more do you need from a Green Arrow comic? Read Full Review

As for the story, the ideas behind the Ninth Circle's strategy are interesting, but in execution, they're just another group of supervillains. Read Full Review

Comic Book Bin - Paul Mason Jul 24, 2017

Meanwhile Black Canary and Emi are battling the ninth circle beneath star city. This issue has a good amount of action and minimal hero fighting hero so there is that. Basically The Green Arrow squad, or team Arrow are fighting the cabal on two fronts in DC and Star city. There wasnt a lot of revelation in this issue but there was some classic Oliver Queen exposition. It seems like Percy not only gets green arrow, but is determined through both the main character and his interactions with his supporting cast to return the hero to his roots. In fact this arc is a subtle and not so subtle homage to the classic ONeill green lantern green arrow series. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Jul 19, 2017

This was another okay issue that continues the Hard-Traveling Hero arc along in workman-like fashion.  It's not going to knock your socks off, but if you yearn to see Green Arrow team up with members of the Justice League, you may enjoy what is going on here.  I need more, but hey, I'm a bit of a jerk.
