For those who love Adventure Time and non-canonical adventures, I can consistently recommend this series!

Aliens: Dead Orbit is an outstanding addition to the Aliens saga. Stokoe's brilliant writing and astonishing art will keep readers, new and old, on the edge of their seats to find out what comes next. I highly recommend Aliens: Dead Orbit 3.

Solid art and a slower paced story make this a solid beginning to this series.

Die! Die! Die! is the surprise new title from Robert Kirkman, Scott M. Gimple, and Chris Burnham. The first issue is a black ops, violent story with plenty of heart. Great story and incredible art!

This first issue of Dry County is setting the stage for something incredible. I look immensely forward to what's coming next!

The first issue of Ducktales is a welcome introduction to new fans of the series. Ducktales will be a highly recommended read for new readers and fans of the show!

If you're a new or old fan of the Ducks, I can highly recommend Ducktales #1. The only recommendations I could make are slightly bigger font and an appearance by Uncle Scrooge, who has yet to appear in the series! Otherwise, an absolutely fantastic read!

East of West is the post-apocalyptic, sci-fi book that fans could only dream of. Phenomenally written, gorgeously drawn, I can give few other books higher recommendation.

Gideon Falls creepy is an understatement. I really don't remember the last time I was so uncomfortable reading a comic this good, and I can't wait to see what comes next. Lemire and Sorrentino have cooked up something truly disturbing and wonderful. HIGHLY recommended!

Be it this Groo adventure or one of boatloads of others, Groo is always a fun adventure. Plenty of comedy, great story and art, and a fantastic story for all ages. I can never not recommend Groo, and I don't intent to start now.

If you like noir, mystery, or just great comics, you'd be remiss to skip Incognegro: Renaissance.

Isola is the new Image Comics series by Brenden Fletcher and Karl Kerschl. A fantasy/adventure that features a royal guard and her queen, who has become a tigress, traveling to the lost land of Isola to save the kingdom.

Well-written, beautiful, and a hell of a lot of fun.

If you want something new, different, trippy as hell, and just out there, Kid Lobotomy is the way to go. It's an absolutely fantastic comic and I'm hope it's the first of many, many more from Black Crown!

An absolute delight for horror and adventure fans, or even just fans of Greek myths.

Lazarus is a series that genuinely improves your comic book reading experience. It's a phenomenal, action packed story, that reads like a building storm, and is definitely a need in your subscription. I HIGHLY recommended it, buy it now!

Leviathan is the combination of love story and monster attacks that's missing from comic book shelves. Leviathan is the newest title from John Layman (Chew) and Nick Pitarra (Manhattan Projects). It's clearly the beginning of something huge.

Overall, another great issue of Magnus! I can deeply recommend this book to anyone who likes sci-fi detective stories! The only complaint is that Turok will make no sense unless you've been reading all the Sovereigns titles.

This closing chapter of the Predator vs Judge Dredd vs Aliens story is a delight. It is well worth your $3.99 and will certainly entertain fans of any or all of the titular characters and new readers, alike!

Gail Simone and Walter Geovani create an incredible time and dimension-crossed tale where Tarzan and Red Sonja must team up to take down a vicious hunter! Strong story and incredible art make this a mini-series not to miss!

Redneck has been a fantastic read since its debut and this issue is no different. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Renato Jones: Freeelancer is one of those books that is a blast to read. If you're looking for a fun, action packed, violent social commentary, this is the book for you!

Corben's work is consistent in its quality of both story and art. While he is an artifact of a past era, his work still clearly holds a place in any medium he chooses, and I am always happy that he chooses to create more horror. Highly recommended.

While still a month away, Slots is a series worth investigation. Panosian has begun to weave a tale of an incredible journey and I've no doubts that it will be a blast. Highly recommended!

Despite the confusing plot, the story holds together okay, but the art is absolutely fantastic. I love the characters in this book, so I'll be sticking around. I'm sure great things are coming for this series!

While not intended for all ages, Spy Seal is a delight to read. Definitely recommended for people who love animal action and spy shenanigans!

Brian Wood weaves a phenomenal tale and Mack Chater provides top notch art! I cannot recommend this highly enough!

I've said this before, but man, I love being a turt " wait, I mean, if you're not reading Turtles, you're doing yourself a disservice. The entire series is well collected and so easy to start, but I do recommend the beginning. Amazing series, highly recommended!

TMNT Universe concludes with Leonardo taking a trip to the astral plane to meet new friends and old enemies. This final issue is an excellent read that features solid story and great art.

IDW reprints in glorious color the third TMNT volume from Image Comics.This crazy, 90's-esque, off-the-rails volume is perfect for fans of classic Image Comics and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but in beautiful colors.

I was going to say that Black Monday Murders is a diamond in the sand, a hidden treasure you only need find. However, a ruby may be more appropriate. It's sharp, cutting, incredibly deep, and blood red. Plus, if you have it tastefully on your person, it is clearly a sign of good taste. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

Ryan Bodenheim's art is absolutely stunning. Be it serene beauty or outright gore, he's an artist in the purest sense of the words.

Sandman Universe is the introductory one-shot to the reborn Vertigo universe. Featuring classic and new characters, the comic serves as a phenomenal story to new and old readers and sets up the new adventures in a most exciting way.

I felt that this debut issue of the Shadow was a great start to this incarnation of the character. Reasonably solid story and excellent art!

If you like the Ducks, and, like me, you're looking forward to the upcoming DuckTales show, then this is the comic for you. Great read, great story, and this is before I realized the age of the comic. HIGHLY recommended!
