While this issue hits the nail on the head with the artwork and back-up story, it fails horribly with regards to accessibility. Heres hoping that Morrison redeems himself next issue, otherwise his entire runs overall brilliance will be overshadowed by its lacklustre finale. |

With yet another disappointing issue I can't wait to see what the new creative team has to offer in April. Although Grant Morrison's genius isn't shining through at the moment, Sholly Fisch's talent has certainly taken centre stage. |

Now that this particular story arc has come to its conclusion I think it would be best to wipe the slate clean and look to the future. Hopefully next issue is the beginning of a new era of Superman, something which is long overdue at this stage. |

As one chapter ends and another begins, the new creative team on this title offers a welcome breath of fresh air to a series which was in dire need of some invigoration. |

Although not as fast-paced as last issue and definitely not as pleasing to the eye, it is an important issue for the progression of the story and sometimes a comic doesnt have to be all-out action. |

With a more than satisfactory opening arc, I can't wait to see how this series progresses over the coming months. Who knows, we might even see a guest appearance from everyone's favourite billionaire playboy. |

Apart from a minor problem with the logic of one element of the story, this issue was certainly a great one, easily living up to its advertised WTF-inducing plot twist. Lets hope the same level of storytelling and artwork continues for a long time. |

With Rise of the Third Army having reached its conclusion and Simon Bazs character well-established we can now look forward to the next big storyline for this title; Wrath of the First Lantern. Who exactly is he and what does his presence mean for the Corps? I cant wait to find out. |

With Throne of Atlantis at its halfway point it is already keeping up the tradition of Justice League stories being absolutely amazing. Also, if that final page is anything to go by, the star-studded cast of this title is about to get a lot bigger (including a certain petulant child). |

All in all this was an extremely satisfying end to the Throne of Atlantis storyline and I for one can't wait to see what else Geoff Johns has in store for us. I also have an inkling that this won't be the last we see of Orm. |

Despite being disappointed at the lack of attention Cyborg received, this issue redeemed itself by providing an excellent self-contained story with an intriguing ending. |

Although not exactly a relevant issue to the grand scheme of things, this first half of a two-part story adequately gives us all a WTF reaction, so in that sense it did its job. Throw in a great backup story and you have a solid issue on your hands. |

I've really been enjoying Fabok's artwork over the last couple of issues, particularly his close-ups of various characters. It's the little things that make his work such a pleasure to look at; a furrowed brow, a slightly unshaven face, etc. I find myself stopping to admire every panel rather than skimming through them at a regular reading pace. If that doesn't speak volumes for Fabok's talent then I don't know what will. |

Another stellar issue from the team of John Layman and Jason Fabok after last issue was to be expected and thankfully they did not disappoint. Hopefully this streak continues month after month and we may just have one of DC's foremost duos on our hands. |

Although the price was practically doubled this month it was definitely worth it. The solid storytelling and artwork throughout the issue makes it a must-read for any Batman fan. |
