Soldier Zero #1

Oct 19, 2010

The Bottom Line: While Soldier Zero may not be the most original comic book on the stands, there is still enough good work here to recommend. So, hit up your local comic shop, pick up a copy, and see how the Soldier Zero armor fits you.

Batman: The Dark Knight (2010) #2

Mar 31, 2011

While this issue of Batman: The Dark Knight was not as good as its stellar first issue, there is still enough here to recommend due to some truly amazing art by Finch and Williams and some really fantastic and surprising scenes. For now, this book is still worth your time and money.

Captain America (2004) #615.1

Mar 31, 2011

While this is a great issue to introduce new readers to Captain America, while at the same time satisfying long-time fans who have been reading this book since issue one, there was just something missing. Nevertheless, this Point One issue does setup the new direction that the book will be taking which should make fans of the Super Soldier very happy.

Pilot Season: Forever #1

Oct 14, 2010

Final Thought: Forever is a book that has much promise. The ideas and concepts behind it are great and the dialogue and art are both solid, but a few flaws in the story really held this book from reaching its full potential.

The Traveler #1

Nov 23, 2010

The Bottom Line: While the book shows promise with great action, snappy dialogue, and amazing art, The Traveler needs to offer a little bit more if it plans to stand out amongst an already over-flooded superhero market.

This is the best Spider-Man has been in years and Slott never ceases to amaze as he continues to raise the threat level for our hero. Coupled with the spectacular art style of Marco Martin, The Amazing Spider-Man is one book that needs to be a must on your pull list.

Heroes for Hire (2010) #1

Dec 7, 2010

The Bottom Line: If this first issue is any indication, Heroes for Hire will continue to be a must-read. It boasts hard as nails writing by the fan favorite team of Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning and sharp as steel art by extremely talented Brad Walker.

Pilot Season: 7 Days from Hell #1

Oct 21, 2010

The Bottom Line: If youre going to only pick up one comic book this week, 7 Days from Hell is the book to get. With a great premise, spot on writing, and the amazing art of Phil Noto and Brain Stelfreeze how can you go wrong?

The Walking Dead #82

Mar 15, 2011

The only bad thing about this issue is that I have to wait 30 days for the next one to come out. Its hard to remember the last time a series like this has continued to hit it out of the park with each new issue (especially after 82 of them), but The Walking Dead continues to fire on all cylinders thanks to the amazing team of writer/creator Robert Kirkman and artist Charlie Adlard.
