X-O Manowar (2012) #1

Venditti writes a well paced first issue. He mixes battles and action well with actual story and character development. I'm liking the slower origin of Aric and feel like it gives more time to explore who the character actually is. Venditti writes the beginning of what promises to be a very great series. |

X-O Manowar (2012) #3

Overall, this is a great installment of the possibly the best new series of the summer. Valiant is making a big comeback in a big way, and they couldn't have picked a better comic to lead with. X-O Manowar is a must read, even if you've never read the original series. Pick it up and support a great relaunch. |

Overall, this is steadily shaping up to be a fantastic little series, and continues to impress three months in. With such an original concept and execution, it's a welcome addition to the current comic environment. It's definitely something I plan on keeping up with in the months leading up to the finish. |

The Manhattan Projects #3

Another great issue for The Manhattan Projects. In this issue, some questions are answered about Daghlian, which made me happy, and we get a little more action. All in all, a great issue and one definitely worth picking up. |

Overall, a great second issue in what is shaping up to be a phenomenal mini-series. Definitely something to look forward to for the next few months. Ross and Hitch continue to deliver. |
