Snapshot #2

Mar 6, 2013

After such a frenetic pace is set from page one it's nice to see Jake with a moment to contemplate his situation. And right before Jake is ready to walk away there's one more twist: detectives are now investigating the crimes… and Jake is no longer just a victim but a suspect! In short Snapshot #2is simply a great read.

The Legend of Luther Strode #4

Mar 30, 2013

In the end the fight has no real resolution but with Luther Strode it's merely a chance for us to catch our breath before the next issue. The Legend of Luther Strode is a non-stop thrill ride and mostly overlooked among Jordan's other work but should be a staple for fans of hardcore heroes.

The Massive #10

Mar 28, 2013

Make no mistake on The Massive #10‘s content. It is heady. Thought provoking and a narrative that needs your full attention to stay on board. But that is definitely not a bad thing. Wood's writing keeps you engaged and he throws in enough mystery and characters struggling with choices that you can't help getting sucked in. With this new arc there isn't a better time to jump on board. Give it a chance and I dare say you will be too.

True Blood #10

Mar 6, 2013

Overall though I thought it was a good representation of a well established property, which by the end made me want to give True Blood an honest evaluation in both print and on TV. Recommended.

Grimm Fairy Tales Presents: Madness of Wonderland #1

Mar 1, 2013

Madness of Wonderland is a four-part tale and if you have been reading Grimm's previous Wonderland story then I'm sure this is a nice beginning. The final reveal in the book teases more literal madness to come and since it is only four issues there is definitely enough here to give it chance.
