Captain Marvel (2019) #12

Nov 20, 2019

Captain Marvel #12 is a crazy introduction to Kelly Thompson's newest arc, it's bursting with action, a sick evil Carol Danvers design, and after reading it I'm trying very hard not to lose my head over it.

Captain Marvel (2019) #14

Jan 28, 2020

Captain Marvel #14 has a different focus from the last two issues in this story arc. While we are past the idea that this story might be showing what Carol would be capable of flipping the script on the Avengers, we are greeted with more mystery and progression in where this story is actually taking us.

Deadpool (2019) #1

Nov 20, 2019

Deadpool #1 is fun, weird, and captivating to say the least. If you like other Kelly Thompson titles like West Coast Avengers, and Mr. and Mrs. X, this is an absolute must.

Ghost-Spider (2019) #5

Dec 21, 2019

While not taking place as predominantly in Earth-616 as I thought it would Ghost-Spider continues to tell these personal stories of Gwen Stacy and her own life. Ghost-Spider #5 livens things up in this current story arc and is certainly closer to that darker tone we are used to seeing from this character.

Ghost-Spider (2019) #6

Jan 9, 2020

Ghost-Spider #6 continues the narrative on a more grounded superhero. It's wholesome and funny with relatable drama and relationships and Gwen is every bit as charming as you'd hope she'd be.

Go Go Power Rangers #27

Jan 17, 2020

While much of the story in this issue is relying on your memory of this TV special, Saban's Go Go Power Rangers does a phenomenal job adding more layers of depth to the White Ranger's origin. Tommy is given more of a journey to his reinstatement in Rangerhood and this issue does a very good job bringing all of that together.

Go Go Power Rangers #28

Jan 29, 2020

Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #28 leaves little room for improvement. With a story and style executed differently from what we've seen in this series so far, everything about it still feels right at home somehow.

Go Go Power Rangers #29

Feb 12, 2020

Saban's Go Go Power Rangers #29 is bringing us closer to the finale of "Necessary Evil" and this series alike. While at this point we are being presented with story points we already know about as Mighty Morphin is so far ahead, it's still compelling to see the entire series through to the end.

Gwen Stacy (2020) #1

Feb 13, 2020

Gwen Stacy #1 is a promising start for this limited series and has a lot of heart in it. There's a lot for long time comic readers to enjoy and references to find. But it also serves as a fun gateway for anyone who wanted to learn more about the character and hasn't read many comics in the past.

Magnificent Ms. Marvel #10

The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #10 is more of what we've been getting in Saladin Ahmed's run with the character. Mister Hyde is a fun villain to have in this issue and gets to throw his weight around for a fun fight.

The start of The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #12 is great and follows up the last issue without skipping a beat. While the conclusion feels a tad weak overall there's still a lot to like about this story arc as a whole.

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers #47

Jan 28, 2020

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #47 has many small but great character moments within it. While not a total progression of the story and serving more to set up what's coming next, this issue still has a lot to give its readers in more gorgeous art and character sincerity.
