GWEN STACY AND THE JACKAL - 'TILL DEATH DO 'EM PART!
Rated T
After all the weird specifics of Gwen's life throughout the past several issues, it's nice to see McGuire and Miyazawa handling a more traditional spider-story. Gwen is looking good as the trap slowly snaps shut on her, and she struggles to find a way out. The series could launch in a number of different directions for her here. It'll be interesting to see what McGuire comes up in 2020. Read Full Review
While not taking place as predominantly in Earth-616 as I thought it would Ghost-Spider continues to tell these personal stories of Gwen Stacy and her own life. Ghost-Spider #5 livens things up in this current story arc and is certainly closer to that darker tone we are used to seeing from this character. Read Full Review

I would recommend this story to people who like strong female lead characters and would like an engaging story. Read Full Review
Ghost-Spider #5 was another fascinating installment in Gwen's adventure. There's something so satisfying about seeing the consequences of Gwen's time spent on two different Earths. Not to mention that this is a plot that has been building for quite some time. Read Full Review
I thought this issue was interesting enough as it was pretty much a set-up for events to come. We got some nice action with some decent dialogue that kept the reader in the loop. the pacing was good and the art fine. I would read the next issue to find out what happens next. Read Full Review
Ghost Spider #5 moves the story from point A to point B with some rather forgettable character beats, but succeeds when playing with recognizable Spider tropes. Read Full Review
These should be fun characters, but they're written in a way that tries to emulate those that have come before, and it lands with a thud. Read Full Review
This is a solid issue. I really like the idea of Miles Warren as a Ghost-Spider villain. He fits better here than he does as a Spider-Man villain. I like the tone of this comic a lot. I just wish more happened here.
I loved the plot developments and the chaos Jackal-616 inflicts on Earth-65. The words and art were rough, though. Many polishing opportunities were missed.
" Oh he's mine too. He just doesn't realize it. "

This was a solid issue, that guy sure is a creep.
