Ghost-Spider hits up fans with a new issue this week that brings in some unexpected guests. Read Full Review
With half a year finished on Ghost-Spider, McGuire has built a very thoughtful and methodical progression to Gwens life that feels a lot less scattered than her male counterpart had been at this stage in college. Its a very clean character arc that feels every bit as hectic and crazy as Parkers days at ESU decades ago, but without all of the clunkiness of the late silver age/early bronze age storytelling. McGuires approach is a definite improvement that makes Gwen feel like that much more of a coherent person. Its quite an accomplishment. Read Full Review

I loathe the fact that I have to wait a whole month for issue 7, which Im sure will be FANTASTIC! Ok, no more puns, however, I am really excited to see how Latveria is going to play into it, the Storm siblings and their angle, can Gwen keep up with school, friends, her dad, and multi-verse travel? Too many questions to be answered! Read Full Review

This book is great, it really is. This issue gets going straight out of the blocks and it flips from fin friendly shenanigans with friends as life moves on, to a shocking return on the final panel. I honestly dont want to wait a month for the next issue… I want it now. I need to know how Latveria is going to play into it. Additionally, how are the Storm siblings going to be used? How will Gwen juggle school, her dad, band practice, and dimension-hopping shenanigans? Ms. McGuire… Seanan… GIMME! NOW PLZ Read Full Review
" ...They say Latveria is for lovers. Maybe you'll Meet someone."
- Johnny Storm (Earth-65)
Gwen enjoys a little downtime, ferrying the MJs to alternate-universe concerts and then helping her Dad handle a bank robbery/hostage case. And in the foreshadowing column, we're introduced to the Awful Social Media Influencer Earth-65 versions of Sue and Johnny Storm. It's a breather episode, but it goes heavy on the charm and wit to produce a thoroughly enjoyable reading experience.
It's about time Marvel let Seanan just have fun with a parallel earth instead of either sticking with the beats from the LaTour series or shoehorning Gwen into the regular Marvel universe.
This was a pretty good breather issue that we didn't really need.
Sort of filler but like not necessarily in a bad way I guess.
