From the writer of Dredd: Underbelly and the artist of X-Men Legacy comes a new Dredd movie sequel mini-series. In the neglected sector of Mega-City One known as The Spit, tensions are reaching boiling point amongst the citizens as the shiny new mega-block Oemling Tower is being constructed for those that can afford to live in it. As the Judges face running battles with rioters, the underground movement known as Uprise stokes the flames of dissent.
Dredd: Uprise is yet another fabulous continuation from the film, as though like most fans I'd rather Dredd got some funding to actually make a sequel, this is a great substitute. The issue also sets up some great events, with the final panel leaving me hooked. Recommended. Read Full Review
More intriguing than Underbelly, but not nearly as good as the movie.
This is excellent. I prefer the regular 2000AD dredd, and the IDW Dredd is great too, but this was still a well drawn/well told Dredd story!
Nice issue, I like it a lot better than 'Dredd: Underbelly' so far. The story is growing some legs and the art is right at home in a Dredd comic.
