A well written script makes for compulsive reading, Williams and Masters understand the value of show not tell. This series has some of the most stylised art and colours in a comic, period, making this a comic that readers can get lost in, losing time appreciating the phenomenal pairing of Campbell and Masters. All the disparate threads promise to come together for a reckoning, but the reader is still in the dark about how that’ll occur. Read Full Review

AWA Studios is pumping out some solid limited series work right now. And Old Haunts is ramping up to be another addition to that list. Its a fast read, but regardless packs much to see in this issue. We are now dealing with the ramifications of what our protagonists have just done at the end of Issue #2, and worst, what their past sins are increasingly driving them insane. Some spectacular art in this particular issue, some really excellent 2 page panel spreads dealing with Alex's hallucination. Things are getting frantic and desperate for Alex, Primo and Donny are getting dragged deeper and deeper into hell. Best issue so far.

    -Issue felt really quick
-Love how alex's son looked just like him in the childhood panel
-Little alex is by far the most fleshed out and interesting character
-I think this was a logical step in the story, but i wish there was more in this issue..this world is potentially brimming with immense intrigue and these characters are too. i really want more depth and it being a 5-issue series could be a negative just because we cant get more exploration. I basically like what is here, but i know with more room to breathe this would be even better
-Issue 4 will be a big chance for the writer to fully flesh out these characters
