But Why Tho? - Collier "CJ" Jennings May 17, 2021

Mighty Morphin #7 upends the traditional dynamic between Lord Zedd and the Power Rangers, presenting the young heroes with a monumental choice. Given the deal Zedd offers them, and his actions in Angel Grove, the Rangers may be faced with a threat they can't fight with martial arts or a Megazord-and that's raised the stakes in ways I never saw coming. Major Spoilers - Matthew Peterson May 18, 2021

An unexpected opening sequence leads to a string of cool moments, ending with an even bigger surprise. This is a good issue. It is troubling, however, to have Zedd's armored butt lovingly rendered on the cover. Read Full Review

You've got to love a good curveball, and Mighty Morphin #7 certainly lives up to that title. Not only does it continue the momentum from last issue but it takes several threads in unexpected and exciting directions, including a major storyline involving the new Green Ranger. Read Full Review

These comics went a little too serious with Shattered Grid a few years ago and it's nice to see a silly story making it's way back onto the franchise! Read Full Review

Now this is just sad. Is Grace so bitter toward Zordon and gullible that she's willing to turn him over to Zedd? Does she actually think he'd keep his word? The instant the guy gets what he wants he'll launch an all-out attack, starting with her little utopia. Maybe this story should end with her death. I never really liked her anyhow.
If Matt continues as a Green Ranger he's going to have a hard time winning the others' trust after this one.
The Emperyal threat seems to be coming to the pages of this series as well. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not sensing an upcoming crossover. Should be good.
