I don't know what to think yet of the new opponent, and some of the visuals don't meet the high bar of the battles later in the issue, but those nitpicks aren't enough to take away from the book's combination of epic action and relatable characters, and it seems the series is going out on a high note. It looks like the Omega Rangers are back to work in space while the others are dealing with defending Earth. Drakkon has proven himself to be truly insane. Things are truly dramatic in this epic comic based off of a cornball kids' show.
The best part is that the Omega Rangers seem to be going on as part of the series. Not just a "Thanks for your help. Maybe we'll see each other again sometime." and they're gone thing. It was a poor excuse for half the team to give up such important positions as defenders of the whole planet just to attend a peace conference, but the writers did have to make an excuse quick after the actors left.
