Firing on all cylinders, turned up to 11; The Eltarian War is everything I want in comics and everything I want in Power Rangers comics. There was going to be no doubt that this issue would get full marks (if I could give more I would) An incredible story with epic scale artwork, bringing together one of the best story arcs I have ever read. If you haven't yet got involved in this event you genuinely have to it is a story not to be missed, even if you're not a fan of Rangers it is something that would probably appeal to most readers that enjoy and epic action story arc and if you are a Rangers fan then it goes without saying you definitely don't want to miss this. This issue is sure to be a hit with longtime fans of the Power Rangers franchise with only three words: White Tiger Dragonzord. Read Full Review
This issue is a bit confusing, even with the color coded word balloons being able to differentiate who is speaking at any time takes extra thought. This makes the experience of reading the book a bit disjointed. But the larger alliances between the Rangers, Zords and Eltarians is great fun and the art has built up beautifully over this arc with grand colors and massive battle scenes. Ryan Parrott knows how to tell a great Power Ranger story and he understands exactly how to bring the action to a massive finish. Read Full Review
All-out action, with the appropriate amount of twists and turns for a Power Rangers battle sequence, meaning that even though we expect our heroes to win, it's easy to get drawn into the story and worry about Angel Grove. Read Full Review
So freaking cool!
Fusing 2 Zords together that had never been fused before, The final battle with the Empyreals and a showdown between 3 former friends, all now enemies on the moon. All this in one issue. The Eltarian war is going to go down in Ranger history as a classic.
There hasn’t been a major Zord battle in either Mighty Morphin or Power Rangers this entire run but this issue made the wait well worth it. The art was brilliant, Parrott’s storytelling finds a way to appeal to nostalgia while coming up with something entirely new, and White Tiger Dragonzord might be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen in the Power Rangers universe.
