The writing is spot on. For every story, I have to say that I think that each one gets better with age. I really think that the people behind each story works well to space out when things are happening and how to show those things in the comic. I legitimately didn't realize how much I hated Catalyst Comixtill writing this review. This is a 90′s throwback book in all the worst ways I can imagine; the terrible artwork with no idea of proportions and completely jumbled colors, the nonsensical fight scenes, the angry indignation at heroes for not taking a more "pro-active" stance, misspelling words to sound cool like "comix", nonsense villain plots that go nowhere. It's like someone managed to distill out all the worst elements of Youngblood and made it into a comic that reminds us of all that was wrong with that decade of comics in a horrible haze of anti-nostalgia. Catalyst Comix should've been left in a previous decade because it's not worth your time or anyone else's, don't buy it. Read Full Review
