Step one: find a nymph heart.

In order to save Grog, Vox Machina splits up to find the rare ingredients that will stop the lich Drath Mephruhn from returning. But nymphs are dangerous, scarce, and not particularly fond of giving up their hearts to adventurers, so the odds aren't good for Vex, Vax, Trinket, and Grog as they enter the wintery Frostweald in search of the only nymph left in Tal'Dorei. But hey, since when have poor odds stopped Vox Machina?

However, with only two issues left, the story would need to pick up with some sort of action to complete with the first half of the run. I look forward to being proved wrong and seeing what is next for our heroes. Read Full Review

Team nymph heart departs for a frozen wood to hunt a nymph. Yet despite the dangers of the woods, the solution to every problem isn't always an ax to a skull. Sometimes an offered hand is the greatest solution to a tricky situation. I wish this story had more time to tell itself, but that might just be because I'm so used to the long form of the podcast which has more storytelling than the longest novels. It's still enjoyable, if brief, read. Read Full Review
