Its said that everyone has an evil twinand in Emmys case that may be true! But if Kammi is evil, shes also charming, clever, and sweet, and she could lure Emmy down a dark and dangerous pathone that leads ever closer to fulfilling the legacy of the long-dead witch Hester Beck!
Tyler Crook's pencils and letters continue to amaze. No colorist is listed, however, I assume Digital Art Technician Ryan Jorgensen has some part in that. These guys keep the dark and ominous tones rolling with every page, coupled with Bunn's script, this book continues to be engaging and visually horrific. Read Full Review

Cullen Bunn's writing hints at a larger picture that we've yet to see; perhaps Kammi is just another spooky bump in the night that needs some coaxing from Emmy to be content. As always Tyler Crook sets the haunting tone with his artwork and the coloring from Ma'at Crook lends itself to the whimsical, yet dark, vibe of Harrow County. Read Full Review
And despite my issues with Kammi's character traits being telegraphed, the issue does set up what looks to be a really cool confrontation. Kammi possesses the same unbridled vibrancy of Emmy, but from the completely opposite end of the moral spectrum. While that might be bad news for Emmy's family, friends, and townsfolk, it's great news for those of us who enjoy good horror. Read Full Review

Overall, this comic is very intriguing from the characterization, to the dialogue, to the various conflicts that arise, to the colours that are used. The art and writing are top-notch, and I can feel this story returning to its horror roots. I wouldn't say this issue was scary, but it was definitely a horror comic, and I don't rule out the possibility of future issues being scary. Read Full Review
