Alicia performs her first series of séances with the patients-including traumatized soldiers returning from the Civil War, women whose sanity has slipped through their fingers-only to realize their sessions might work all too well. What no one knows is Alicia is a fake. A liar. A cheat... So why are the patients suddenly acting possessed?
Seance in the Asylum #1 definitely feels like a Clay McLeod Chapman story and partnering with artists such as Leonardo Marcello Grassi and Andrea Mutti to bring this series to life makes for a complete package. Seance in theAsylumreads as if Edgar Allan Poe wrote a comic. It's dark, moody, and a bit disturbed. There's a strangeness that grips you while establishing a very dangerous proposition with its cliffhanger. Read Full Review
Not bad at all.
I'm not 100% sold, but it was a good enough start to keep me going. I feel like it has a lot of potential.
It was okay, but nothing that great. I won't be getting issue #2.
