An exciting first issue in a classic murder mystery with flavours of Agatha Christie, this is an intriguing new chapter within the Mignolaverse, with two heroines whose rich history is dying to be told. It works as a standalone chapter too, so no previous knowledge of the characters or Hellboy's larger universe is necessary. Although it comes across as a simple mystery story (so far), there is a lot of room for growth. The cliffhanger ending was interesting, and it provided a glimpse into the supernatural elements promised. Hopefully the next issue dives deeper into who the characters are. Read Full Review

So far so good, Agatha Christie meets John Constantine in a mystery with plenty of questions but no answers yet.
I liked it. Good art and story.
I like murders on isolated islands and murders with ties to the occult.
