Stan Sakai triumphantly returns to his signature creation, just in time for Usagi to find himself caught up in a fight between his thief friend Kitsune and a ninja intent on getting the mysterious scroll Kitsune has stolen, at any cost!
Revealing Kitsune to be the less bloodthirsty of the the two thieves, the comic ends with the unmasking of Chizu as the other with Usagi likely being forced to step-in between the two women for the apparently worthless scroll that led to the night's events unraveling. It's good to see Usagi back in action, and entangled in another of Kitsune's messes, once more. Best of the Week. Read Full Review
Reading Usagi Yojimbo is like curling up by a fire in a cozy blanket on a cold day. It's a comfortable, safe place that is fun to fully immerse yourself into and Sakai makes it easy to do that. The world of Usagi Yojimbo is rich and filled with great characters, both new and old, and even 145+ issues into his saga, Usagi is as likable as ever. Any time I can return to this world and these characters is an opportunity that must be seized, and Sakai does not let readers down with #145. If you've never read Usagi Yojimbo, it's an easy issue to dive into. If you've read it and lapsed, now is as good as time as any to return to the wonderful world of Usagi Yojimbo. Read Full Review

After what seems like forever (though we've had plenty of awesomeness to fill the months) Usagi Yojimbo is back and our favourite Rabbit Ronin is doing what he does best, getting involved in something that he should have the wisdom by now to walk away from.
