52 #8 is a great read. DC deserves a lot of credit for doing an excellent job on 52 which is quite a daunting task. I feel that DC really whiffed on Infinite Crisis. However, they are making up for it with 52. No, 52 is going to make sweeping changes to DC's continuity and history. 52 is simply a very exciting and quite enjoyable comic book. Mr. Wanty: Let me be absolutely clear about this: I want "History of the DCU" to be over. Now. Quick-like. Maybe, just maybe, theres someone out there, maybe two or three someones, who this back-up series is important to. To them I salute. I personally cant help but think there was some other way for DC to approach this, some other mode of relating this History that didnt remind me of the most boring of high school lectures.
