Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj May 3, 2016

Whoever Facet is, they have been watching Supergirl for a very long time. And maybe they have been waiting for Kara to don the S-shield before moving against her. All the plot threads are kind of tightening into one very intriguing story. Everything about this book seems to be clicking right now. The Fandom Post - Chris Beveridge May 5, 2016

The series continues to be a good bit of fun with what it does and this issue is no exception, even if it is mostly setup for what's to come. I like the larger narrative that Gates is putting together as it really does blend well with Kara's discovery phase in the first season of the TV series. It also doesn't hurt to have a good bit of Kryptonian thrown around in here, something that the show needs to grab onto and work with. It's also a solid installment with Carmen Carnero on board for the artwork as she has some good panel layouts throughout and a very good flow for the dialogue, especially in that driving sequence. Definitely a good bit of fun that has me interested in seeing what's next in store for them. Read Full Review

The sisters Danvers engage on a quest for Psi and visit one of her old haunts, from before she went all ghost-like. Sterling Gates is writing fairly pitch-perfect versions of the characters from the CBS TV show, and if you're jonesin' for Supergirl since the first season ended last week, well you can spend a buck and get another taste. C'maan, one taste won't hurt. What are you, chicken? I'm gonna tell everyone that you're a little baby that won't take their Adventures of Supergirl digital comic because you're a poo-poo head. No you. No, you. I don't want to get into this anymore, I'm telling mom. Read Full Review
