Sure, they may have had to team up to escape Damocles' clutches - but Batman and Bane can't keep their hands off each others' throats for long! The question is, will Damocles be able to use that rivalry to his advantage?
Overall, Bane: Conquest #3 delivers the goods. Flowing dialogue, great fights, fun art and a sense of direction give you plenty to justify for your money. Read Full Review
Overall, I really enjoyed this issue. These three issues so far have been great! I'm able to fly through them with ease, and they always leave me wanting more. If you haven't started this series, do yourself a favor and pick it up now. It's a great read and truly brings one of Batman's greatest foes back to where he needs to be. Read Full Review
Better take a deep breath, because Chuck Dixon and Graham Nolan won't allow you a moment to breathe in the action-packed Bane: Conquest #3. Read Full Review
It's just not a very compelling story and there aren't many reasons to keep following Bane through the next issue of this maxi-series. Read Full Review
While this isn't a Batman story, Batman might have been the biggest problem that I had in this issue because the character just felt off. Yeah, maybe it's a ploy for something down the line that our hero is just letting play out, but here he just didn't feel right and the rest of the story just felt lackluster from where we left off previously. The art continues to be awesome and I'm still invested in this story, but right now it seems that we're just on a roller coaster ride, where the story just keeps making my interest go up and down. Banes path to global crime domination seems to offer an opening as he and Batman continue their struggle. Read Full Review
Unfortunately, this was a meager entry in the Bane: Conquest maxi-series. At its best, it's little more than standard comic fanfare. And once you throw in a very questionable character portrayal, it ends up being grossly substandard. It's a shame really, because part 2 was so much more promising than the premiere issue, but now we are right back to mindlessly generic action and severely plot heavy storytelling. Read Full Review
Nolans art hasn't evolved much past his late eighties early nineties style so if you were a fan then you probably are still a fan. It is suitable for the title. Read Full Review
Pretty weak chapter of the story. Not much really happens here, except we get to see Bane and Batman both kick some serious ass. Some of it is good, but despite the art being very captivating, the action comes of as very unexciting. While Bane, Batman, and the Trio are written nicely, newer characters like Damocles and Dionysus are pretty weak.
