Batman Beyond #5 shows this could be one of the more drastic resets of the DC Rebirth era. This issue may not have set up its conclusion in the most satisfying way, but there's no denying this will be the book everyone is talking about. Batman Beyond fans…there is a lot to be excited about! Read Full Review

As an overall story, "Escaping the Grave" is average at best. The plot of this issue doesn't really change much either. However, one reveal at the end of the issue completely turns this series on it's head, and boosts the score for me! I hope Jurgens and Chang run with this plot, because this reveal alone could drive many, many arcs! Read Full Review

Overall, Im excited but cautious. I love the way this arc ended and I'm excited for more, but also concerned that those less then interesting *cough* Tim Drake *cough* plot points will come in and be a drag on the best part of this book- Terry McGinnis. Read Full Review

It was a satisfying issue story wise, but it was not so much fun for a comic book. It was good, but disappointingly, it was not a wow overall. Read Full Review
