Ferran does some extremely fantastic lettering in this issue, implementing styles that showcase the horrors the team faced on their first mission and the screams of anguish as they lost a team member. When it comes to art, there is a gritty and rough style to it, which fits the theme once again and endears itself to the horror aspect that this story falls within. We get to see flashes of the team's unique powers and their grotesque skins that you can almost feel show that Hervas and Guimaraes feel at home in the story. Read Full Review
The horror visuals are strong, but the lead characters don't have much development so far and Vincent in particular is a deeply unlikable figure. Still, it's good to see Dastmalchian getting to bring his taste for campy 80s-inspired horror to the DCU. Read Full Review
DC Horror Presents: Creature Commandos #2 is a good, albeit a bit distracted, second issue. The attention to detail as far as science meeting monster needs is interesting, while the animosity amongst the team is fun to keep tabs on. This second issue falls prey to spinning wheels, preventing the main story from getting into gear, though. Read Full Review
It's fine. It feels like issue 1.5, Two issues in and feels like a prologue. Not bad..something is missing.
