As far as I'm concerned, Detective Comics offers the only Batman R.I.P. tie-in worth reading. That has nothing to do with its tie-in status and everything to do with the fact that Dini is putting out what may be his best work on the series so far. Read Full Review
Detective Comics #849 was another solid read. Dini continues to do a masterful job on this title. Detective Comics is a dependable read that offers the reader an enjoyable blend of mystery, action and drama. For the comic book readers who have disliked Morrison's Batman take heart, Dini's Detective Comic is just the title for you. Read Full Review

Kind of strange how fast it went from Hush and Batman fighting to a tour of the hospital accompanied by an exposition drop but still a fun issue.
