Eleven-year-old Diana leads an idyllic life on the island of Themyscira. Cut off from the rest of the world, she's beginning to feel a little alone. Though she has a loving mother and many "aunties," she is an only child. In fact, she's the only child on the entire island!
After an escapade goes wrong, Diana gets in trouble for not living up to the Amazonian standard. She just can't seem to measure up no matter what she does. Diana, Princess of the Amazons is another example of an excellent graphic novel for children from DC Comics. Any Wonder Woman fans should absolutely pick up this delightful graphic novel. Additionally, anyone looking for a lighter read akin to DC Super Hero Girlsor other YA and children's titles from the DC brand should also add this to their library at home. Read Full Review

I liked this graphic novel, though I found it a bit thin at the beginning of the third act. Kids will love Diana, how she's depicted, and the adventure in finding some fun when boring chores take up her day. Parents will appreciate the message in this story, too. Read Full Review
