I wish a lot of comic readers that arent enjoying the main Final Crisis series could look past the trade dress of Revelations and give it a shot. Its one of the most epic series I have read in years. The writing, story, and art are so good that this series could have been the main Final Crisis mini-series and I would have been just as happy. It definitely has the sense of epic a DC event should. There are just so many things working correctly for Revelations that cracking open each issue when I get home from the store is an absolute joy. Cant wait to find out what happens next. Read Full Review

Once again, Philip Tan proves an invaluable contributor to this story, heightening the haunting and foreboding tone of the plot with an appropriately unsettling atmosphere. Tan's level of detail seems to waver inexplicably from page to page and panel to panel for the first time in this miniseres, but again, he captures the appropriate aura of this dark story and makes us buy into its biblical importance. I'll admit Final Crisis hasn't yet won me over, but this story seems to be working pretty well. And I'll also admit a bit of a guilty pleasure at seeing Montoya beaten down (yeah, I want my Vic Sage back!) in a pretty one-sided girl fight. I'm also very intrigued by the character of Radiant and hope to see more of her post-Final Crisis. Read Full Review

I realize that a series called "Final Crisis: Revelations" shouldn't be subtle, but it would be nice if it were more than just gnashing teeth and zombies of Darkseid. Read Full Review
