Van Jensen does a great job of using this Annual to expand the villain roster of the current Flash run as well as the Speed Force mythos to boot. While Professor Zoom has shown his evil ways already, Jensen shows to what extent he will go to destroy Barry Allen. The art by Bong Dazo is great and while new readers will probably be confused, it is a must read for fans of the current story arc. I'm one of those, so I had a great time. Read Full Review

It's a great origin story for these new recruits from different times and backgrounds and why they joined Zoom on his quest. Telling and re-telling the story from a different angle at the end of the book is great way to conclude. Read Full Review
FLASH ANNUAL #4 adds quite a bit to the mythos that is Professor Zoom while progressing the story forward. There's a few overall ideas within the book which feel overused and dated, but overall, it's an intriguing issue that builds on the main story and introduces some pretty cool characters.
