BATMEN AT WAR PART FOUR! Jason Todd and Hunter Panic must help Jace, the Next Batman, against the original Batman and...his son Batman 666?! And while all hell breaks loose in Gotham the rest of the Bat-Family have an intervention with Nightwing about his addiction and claiming the mantle of Batman for his own! Please keep reading this series, it's just so good. I never know what is coming next and I'm not sure I want to know. It's always so exciting to see what Dennis Culver comes up with next! With two different evil Batmen facing off at the end of the issue, it's a recipe for tragedyespecially given how close these two were in other timelines. But there's no question it's an entertaining story as we head to the finish line. Read Full Review
DC recently announced that this series will be ending in October, and it seems that the series is content to simply spin its wheels while we wait for this to be over. All of the criticisms I laid out last month still apply, except they are only getting worse. Future State: Gotham #16 is a poorly drawn, plotted, and scripted comic that relies on cheap attempts at melodrama to cover up for a presentation that has seemingly had little effort put into it.
