Mercenaries, police, backstabbing businessmen, and more have all tried to keep Curtis Metcalf down. Maybe it's not a bad thing to want more from Hardware's season finale? The character has so much potential and is far more complex than a black Tony Stark. Hopefully with the second season, the creative team will tap into it further. Read Full Review

Best of the Milestone Returns stories, but goddamn the art is not it at all.
Hardware was the weakest out of all the new Milestone books. I enjoyed all the others to a certain degree but this one wasn't it. The story quickly lost steam and repeated the same bits all over again. Hardware as a character was very bland & Alva's personality was only "I loved you like a son" phrase and that's pretty much it. The art by Cowan & Sienkiewicz looks fine but doesn't fit the action.
