Weird Science - Branden Murray
Jan 18, 2017This "silly" crossover, between two 80's TV/toy properties,continues to be an enjoyable story and is entering into the territory of beingbetter than it has any business to be. Jan 18, 2017It's not my favorite of the mini-series so far; I'd roughly put it on par with the first book. Most of that is because of the high standard the last two issues set in terms of breaking from the confines of the kid-friendly TV show and defying expectations, rather than anything being wrong with this one. If the big confrontation in this issue had landed for me, I would have enjoyed the book more as a whole. Still, the writers and artists are delivering a strong series and set up next issue to really let the sparks fly. I'll be looking forward to seeing how that book turns out. Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Sean Blumenshine
Jan 19, 2017Overall, the issue doesn't work for me. The art is fine for the most part with some cool colors. I enjoyed some little moments such as Cringer becoming a Thundercat and Skeletor being Skeletor. But, the main bulk of the issue is boring to me with the big fight and the tone of this series is not working for me. I don't recommend reading this issue. Read Full Review

This series has been fun and surprising from the start. I wish there was a different resolution for Adam's fate from the previous issue, but it played out nicely in the grand brawl occupying the majority of the issue. I wonder what other tricks Lion-o will pull out of his sword.
