Tom already shows how the heroes are taking things a bit into the extreme. Stripping Black Adam of his powers and nearly killing him because of how vulnerable he became. There is a line to be drawn and for those like Billy, he's losing himself and can't help it. Another solid issue that addresses the problem as it progressively becomes more intense. Read Full Review
It's unfortunate we have to wait to see the developments with Batman and his team, but in the meantime, this issue revolves around what Taylor does best: characterization (unless you're a Wonder Woman fan, that is). It's easy to relate to Billy's struggle and I'm extremely interested to see where the character will go from here. Kevin Maguire's penciling with Rosemary Cheetham on colors bring about an appropriate visual change to match the issues shift in focus. Similar to the Flash chapter, the story continues to move forward while also taking a minute to look around at what is transpiring. It does not get in its own way, but keeps things feeling fresh. It will be interesting to see whether or not it is the teams being formed in response to the Justice League or the wavering allegiance of its own members that will become the real threat to their efforts. Without a doubt, the creative team headed by Taylor for this chapter have turned out a solid issue. Read Full Review
