This is a harder book to discuss, not because it's bad, but just because there's not a lot, which doesn't mean that it feels like it's lacking anything. It tells exactly as much story as it needs to in a great way, and it's a very thrilling read. It's simply a case of less being more. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Ian Yoxon Mar 8, 2014

This is a must read for both readers of the crossover or just complete the series. It does show awesome moments of the Phantom Stranger for new readers who might be interested in the character. Like the last few issues, it sets the groundwork for future stories to come as during the series so far likes to bring in things that readers might not think is important from first glance. It think readers are going to enjoy this as it leads to the conclusion of Forever Evil: The Blight. Read Full Review

Although I am a little confused as to why this story had to take place throughout four titles (and not just one really well-done one), it's starting to wind down when it should be ramping up. It's a good read, yes, but I'm going to take a shot and say that it will probably not read as well in a trade paperback collection when the whole story is said and done. It's had it's great moments here and there, but between the misleading covers, the poorly-advertised tie-in issues, and the overall lengthening of the whole "Blight" aspect of the story, it really just seems like it's stretching itself a bit too thin. Don't get me wrong. It's still a good read. I'm just going to go back to my original theory (or rather, suggestion) that the whole "Dark" portion of the New 52 should probably just be one title. Justice League Dark is really all they need. Especially now that they've explored just about every angle of the magical universe in this epic story. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Eric Shea Mar 11, 2014

While it's not the best thing that Forever Evil: Blight has given us, I really love seeing Phantom Stranger do that strange thing he does so well.......  Yeah it's probably just suffering, but I like seeing him do it.  While I like call backs to earlier issues, it seems that the Phantom Stranger series is lousy with them.  Every other issue before we got to Blight seemed like it was just a call back, and here we're doing it again.  While you might like that, this issue is a mixed bag for me.  Like I said in previous reviews on this arc, I think I'm just getting burned out from weekly Blight.
