G. Willow Wilson has transformed a classic Batman villain into a captivating protagonist, deserving of her own series. She skillfully constructs an intriguing world around Poison Ivy that draws readers in. Marcio Takara's art is the perfect complement.
I know I've given it a 10 and in retrospect it probably over the whole issue run between the sublime and the ridiculous but that's entertainment and taking of a point for Janet being well.....mmmmm Janet is in my book harsh. The supernatural elements for me are a breath of fresh air and well everybody knows a Janet???? Don't they......JM
