I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed Paul Jenkins on this title. I know he's moving on to other things but I hope the sales on these issues are strong enough that when Peter Milligan finishes his upcoming run, Jenkins will be the first on their list. He made sure that this title continues to be one of the fresher and more original titles in the New 52 and I hope people are starting to drop other books will give this a try if they haven't already. A good conclusion with some palpable developments spewing forth from it, Stormwatch #8 puts the title back on track and paves the way for Peter Milligan to impress us readers with his take on this unique, dysfunctional team. Let's hope Milligan brings that dose of stability into the mix; wacky ideas can only go so long without engaging, fleshed out characters to back them up. Read Full Review

The comic's still rough in a several areas, but I like how Jenkins used the characters over the past two issues (with exception of another decidedly insipid Jack Hawksmoor subplot). Worth a look. Read Full Review

If I can't properly absorb this book, what does that say about the rest of the reading population? I feel like I did my duty, trying to expand my horizons and try something new, but it's no use " there's no silver lining to Stormwatch's cloudy storytelling. Read Full Review
