The Robin War is over. From the rubble a new force rises, one that is attacking Duke and his Robins one by one. This new movement laughs at hope and justice. They believe in anger. They believe in fear. They believe in chaos. They areJOKERS.
There cannot be light without darkness"order without chaos"good without evil. The "Robins" finally have their Arch-Nemesis, and he is Duke's polar opposite. This point is demonstrated masterfully through the combined narrative efforts of Bermejo and Corona. In an industry ripe with convoluted storytelling and over the top scenarios, Bermejo delivers a truly organic tale full of depth, credibility, and gripping characters. If you've been curious about this title, now is the perfect time to experience the best of what W.A.R. has to offer. Read Full Review
There is a lot going on in this issue and the stark contrast between family as presented with Duke Thomas and Smiley's case was an incredible detail that Bermejo pulled of with perfect precision. This book is getting us moving towards a reaction to the We Are Robin group. Just like Alfred said in The Dark Knight to Batman, these kids chose to do something and we are about to see that action returned by other teens that don't share their point of view. Overall, I would say this was a great first issue and, so far, a good recovery after Robin Wars lackluster performance. If anyone has not been following the series up until now, this feels like a good first issue to start with now. Read Full Review
Now that the Robin War is over, we can get back to basics with our Robins and what they're up to after that event.......... since they kind of called it quits as a group. On top of that, we get a new villain and this issue tells a really intriguing duel story between Duke and his future foe. We pretty much have everything that I loved about this series before it was commandeered by Robin War and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Just a great story, full of excellent art and I hope that a bunch of you will take this opportunity to pick this book up because it should be selling way more than it does. Read Full Review

There's much to appreciate about what Bermejo's attempting, but at the end of the day it just winds up feeling like misery porn. Read Full Review
Good return to basics. The story follows Smiley, a teen who is obsessed with the Joker, Duke who has left the robin life and finally finds his parents, and the rest of the robins through their daily life
