You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Jun 28, 2023

For all its flaws, its still nice to see Bond on the comics page. The story is simple and breezy. Bond appears suitably Bond-like on the page. Everything seems more or less as it should. One would hope for more of a flashy stylishness in a contemporary Bond comic, though. Just what is the secret Gann has been keeping? And how much will it effect Bond's mission to destroy Myrmidon (which we see more examples of their monstrosity on display underlining that despite Gann's secrets, Myrmidon needs to be taken down whatever the cost). Read Full Review

I'm loving the intrigue and espionage that keeps building issue after issue, even more than the miniseries that preceded it. Read Full Review

Another strong issue, but not enough going on. Bond gets pinned down by 006 sniping until Gwen gets the drop on him. It's revealed that Gwen has a secret she's keeping from Bond. We get a car chase that could have been crafted a little better. I love bringing Felix into it. It shows that Johnson knows his lore. I'm looking forward to the next issue.
