With the Manhattan Clan back together again, Brooklyn and Katana ask Broadway, Lexington, and Angela to stand as their Seconds during the all-important Commitment Ceremony. The Clan has never felt stronger - which is a good thing, because a desperate Dino Dracon is about to make one last play to take over all of New York City!
Kambadais does a fantastic job of visually making every moment from intense action to character contemplation compelling to the reader. A fantastic looking issue from start to finish. Read Full Review
Gargoyles #11 does a good job of interconnecting plot points from the show, such as those surrounding the character of Halcyon Renard and the lack of transparency on the part of Elisa Maza, and by extension, Matt Bluestone. Although unless youve binged the series recently, you probably wont be as impacted by this issue as the plot is heavily focused on particular plot points from the series that wouldnt make sense to those who havent seen the show or need a refresher. Its great for fans of the show, but they should give a little more background information for those who may need a reminder of the details from the show. Read Full Review
GARGOYLES #11 ends the kidnapping, starts the hunt for Dino Dracon, and gives Goliath a surprising new status quo. George Kambadaiss art style is a good fit for animation adaptations, and Weismans soap opera script gives readers plenty of twists and turns, but there are too many spots where the script and art are a mass of harried confusion.
